Types of Dried fruits

Produced Dried fruits have different names . The major varieties are as follows:

Dried Yellow Apple:

This product is one of the bestselling dried fruits in the world.
European, CIS, GCC countries are the main customers for dried
apple. Washing, peeling, slicing by cutting units to same sizes
and drying by indirect heating for 5 hours are the whole
method to produce dried apple. Dried red apple and dried
yellow apple are the two main products for dried apple.

Dried Peach:

This product is produced organically from the best quality
fresh peach cultivated in the fertile regions in Iran. Fresh big
size peaches selected to produce dried peach with big ring
sizes. All production procedure is done by Automatic
machineries. Peeled and unpeeled dried peach are the two
forms of this product. Dried peach is produced at around 135-
140 °F in dehydrating units, until leathery or crisp (about 8-12
hours), depending on thickness of slices.

Dried Prune (Dried Plum) :

Because of its sore and also sweet tastes, this product is one of
the most favorite dried fruits produced by our company.
California and Shablon plum are the most famous plums to
produce dried plum and shablon is produced more than the
other one. Pneumatic machinery is used to remove the kernels,
and then the pitted fruits cut to thin slices by Slicing unit. Now
the slices are ready to be dried.

Dried Melon:

Melon is cultivated in hot seasons of the year usually in summer. Red dried Melon and Yellow dried melon are produced in our factory.

Dried Strawberry:

A product with a large number of fans in all over the world. Much attention should be paid to produce dried strawberry due to its very sensitive tissue. Production processes run very fast due to the very short harvesting time. Dried strawberry produced with high quality in our company and exported to all over the world. Locally grown berries chosen and dried a lot, while they are in peak season, which is mid-spring to early summer in most places.

Dried Mango:

One of the most famous and favorite products in our company. The consumption rate for dried mango is high, because of its remarkable nutritional value and selling rate. That is why dried mango can be called as one of the bestselling products in our company. Specific procedure is used to produce a very high quality dried mango by our company and annually huge quantities are being ordered by Arabian and CIS countries. Dried mangoes can be eaten as snacks and dessert or used as ingredient for ice cream mixes and toppings.

Dried Orange:

This product is produced in two forms; peeled dried orange and unpeeled dried orange. Iranian Oranges are oval to sphere-shaped fruits with leathery, porous skin. Their color ranges from orange to red-orange.

Dried Persimmon:

Rarely can be found in other countries especially in European countries, that is why many customers order it. This product can be produces in two forms; unpeeled and peeled. Persimmons, when fully ripe, are thin-skinned, soft and sweet. Persimmons used to create dried persimmons are harvested when they are under-ripe, firm, astringent, and bitter. Dried persimmons have a delightfully sweet, perfumed taste that makes for a wonderful treat year-round

Dried Banana:

Circular cutting and longitudinal cutting are the two forms of dried banana which are produced in FC Company. Fresh banana is always available and dried banana can be produced in all over the year. Banana tissue sensitivity is one of the challenging points to produce dried banana due to its reaction with oxygen (Oxidation). FC Company overcome this problem and now produces a very high quality dried banana in Iran. Banana slices that are only dehydrated are not dark yellow and crunchy, but rather are brown, leathery and chewy. They are very sweet and have an intense banana flavor. These are ideally made from bananas that are fully ripe.

Dried kiwi:

One of the most bestselling products of FC Company which is used in the mixture of other dried fruits. This product is produced in two forms Circular cutting and longitudinal cutting. Due to its high vitamins contents, dried kiwi can be considered as one of the most commonly used dried fruits. Dried kiwi contains approximately 180 calories, its fat content remains negligible at only half a gram. Because it is dense in nutrients and virtually fat-free, dried kiwi is a healthy and reliable source of quick energy.

Dried Pineapple:

This product is produced by using natural and canned pineapples. Dried pineapple can be produce in all over a year from canned pineapple. One of the most expensive products due to its costly production processes.

Dried Tomato:

This product can be produced in huge volume. Dried tomato can be used in different industries including tomato paste, tomato juice industries.

Dried Lemon:

Dried lemon is produced from high quality fresh lemon in Iran, and can be used in cooking process in high quantities. Dried lemons are a wonderful tart snack. These all natural dried lemon slices have a great citrus taste that goes well with beverages such as tea or lemonade.

Dried Coconut:

One of the strategic products of FC company which has many customers from around the world. This product can be produced in longitudinal cutting slices and also tiny slices. High quality Fresh coconut is imported to Iran to produced high quality dried coconut. Dried coconut is also used as the filling for many chocolate bars. Some dried coconut is purely coconut.

The History of Dried Fruit

Keeping fruits in fresh form are always not possible, so human always look for a way to keep them for a longer time. Today freezing is one of the best ways to keep foodstuffs in houses. However freezing can damage the appearance of the fruits and quality can be lost. So drying method have been developed to keep fruits for a longer time and also for easier transportation. Researched proved that nutritional values of dried fruits are much higher than fresh fruits.

Production Capacity

Dried fruits are being produced daily in our production firm and the quantity varies from 700 kg to 1000 kg per day. The production is run by three convoying drier machinery.
